How do I get started?
Once the program is downloaded to your computer's hard drive all you need to do is open the program with a word processing program (Microsoft Word preferred) and follow the instruction included on the CD.
How secure is the information?
When using Microsoft Word, you can choose a password which will lock the file. This procedure is included in the program instructions. Once you have applied a password, the next time you attempt to open the file you will need to input the password before the program will open.
Can I add additional information?
Yes! This is a word processing program, you can continue to add as much data to the file as you need. Instructions are included on how to copy and paste the pages you may need to duplicate.
What if I don’t have Microsoft Word?
You can open the file using any commonly used word processing program. The advantage of using Microsoft Word is you can lock the file with a password. Instructions on how to create a password are included on the CD.
How is this program different from other household inventory programs?
Several years of research and development has gone into this program to make it as complete and comprehensive as possible. Other programs cover basic information, but Identa-Guard™ is complete and covers everything you will ever need to document.
Can the program be customized for resale or promotional use?
